Tom Kean, Jr. (R)

Senator Tom Kean, Jr. is a Republican State Senator from the 21st Legislative District. He is running for US Senate in the 2006 election. His father is former governor, Thomas Kean. Senator Kean was elected to the State Senate in 2003. Before this, he was an Assemblyman from 2001 until he was appointed to finish Rich Bagger's term in early 2003. In the senate, he has fought for ethics reform and to ban play to pay practices. He serves on the Health, Human Services and Senior Citizens Committee and the Appropriations Committee and is the former vice-chair of the Assembly State Government Committee.
